Version 0.7.0 crash during startup - DitzEgo - 08-06-2025

Hi everyone. I hope all is well with you.

So I've tried to get this running all morning, to no avail. I've got the latest version (0.10.0 QT). It starts and runs perfectly fine on my Mac M1 Pro. The issue is that I don't have any options for installing the game package files. The most common workaround, as I'm sure you're aware, is grabbing version 0.7.0 and letting that one handle installation.

The problem is that version 0.7.0 crashes every time I try to start it. The program loads for a bit (evident by the jumping icon in the bar) but never opens, and just crashes.
I don't know what the problem is. I'm not very well-traveled in all this so it could be user error. But in case it's not, can anyone help?

I can post the crash log provided by MacOS if required.

why you need to get 0.7.0 running if 0.10.0 works for you?

Because I'm too big of an idiot to understand how to install games without the option in version 0.7.0's drop down menu, to be blunt.

I'm with you on that. I had 0.10.0 but I have no idea what an Elf file is and how to change the pkg to it. So I went back to 0.7.0 and now im experiencing the same crashing you are talking about. Is there a fix? Or at least how to get the Elf file?
